Some photos

A few photos of the past month or so...

Movie Night (Lady and the Tramp)Our neighbor, Cayden, can be found peeking in our back window pretty regularly.
Autumn, Parker and our neighbor, Cayden, sat here for about 30 minutes reading books together happily. They were so cute; pointing and laughing at pictures.
I have been getting the baby stuff out in preparation for our new little baby boy. Autumn loves it all! Here she is, lounging in front of the TV in the baby bath seat.
Autumn wanted a haircut after she saw Parker getting one, so we pretended.
The kids just lounging on Dad, while he is napping.

New Car...Well, New to us...

We always thought that we would drive this car until it died, but we are now saying goodbye to our 2000 Nissan Maxima. (This sweet photo reeled the buyers in.) We really have loved this car and it is hard to sell it when it has been so reliable. The buyer had his mechanic check it out for him and it was even harder to let it go, when we heard him report that it was in excellent condition. But we really don't need 2 cars right now, and we actually were able to sell this car just a week after buying our new car. (And selling it payed for half of our new car!) We bought this Maxima right before Parker was born, with the idea that it at least had to get us through Law School, and it did!
And we are now the proud owners of a 2004 GMC Envoy. (We did wash it, but since then it has been rainy and dusty and windy, so it is pretty dirty in these pictures.) It seats 7, so it is perfect for our growing family. I am not so excited about driving a bigger car, but if you have more kids, you have to get used to driving something bigger at some point. Hopefully, it is as good to us as our Maxima. I guess we will drive it until it dies, or until we outgrow it. Well, we'll see about that...

Ponytail!

So, I finally tried to do something with Autumn's hair. With enough water and hairspray, she can have a cute little ponytail. Although, she won't leave it in very long, she looks adorable! (She wasn't very cooperative for pictures, but I did the best I could.)

Congratulations Lauren!

Our oldest niece, Lauren, graduated from High School at the end of May. I was just 11 years old when she was born. I cannot believe she is all grown up. She is such a good and smart girl. I am so proud of her and glad we could be there to celebrate the big event.

Memorial Day Barbecue

We had a fun Memorial Day at my brother Mark's house. My sister, Jill, and brother, Andrew, and his family were also there. We had a barbecue with plenty of food, watched "Dear John," played kick ball at the park and just hung out. It was fun for the cousins to play and for all of us to be together and laugh and have fun.
