Our little Lincoln is 8 months old. He is getting so big! He is as content as can be, although he always seems to be battling a cold of some sort and right now is no different. Here are a few updates on our littlest one:
He scoots on his bottom while sitting up (not exactly sure how it happens, but if I leave him in one place, he has moved by the time I return and he is still sitting up.)
He does roll around to get his toys, or lean forward on his arms to get them while sitting up. He looks like he is going to crawl, but when he is fully on his tummy, he just gets up on his arms and scoots backward. While lying on his back, he uses his feet to arch his back off of the ground. I think it is another attempt to move, but he doesn't get anywhere. It sure looks funny though.
He eats cereal really good, but is still getting used to fruits and veggies. We usually have to mix them in with cereal, or he won't eat them.
He has tried out his jumper and likes it.
He is a tongue twister. He is often twisting his tongue around in his mouth, turning it sideways and folding it around.
He loves to try to imitate what you say. And smiles and laughs when you play this game with him.
He also loves to play peek-a-boo. He loves to be the one to pry your hands away from the front of your face. And laughs so hard when he sees you say boo.
He is our cuddliest baby yet that makes him so fun to hold him and snuggle!
