Just the Two of Us!

Paul and I went on a little getaway to Las Vegas.  We stayed one night in Mesquite and then traveled the rest of the way to Las Vegas.  We did some shopping at the Outlets and were there for hours.  (I am always surprised at how much of a shopper Paul is...love it!)  We saw "The Voice" concert tour at the MGM Garden Arena.  We also got to meet our friends, Derek and Rebecca, for breakfast.  We got back into Provo on Monday evening and I had a meeting early Tuesday, so the kids stayed another night at Kim's house.  Paul and I headed over to Seven Peaks with our passes and had some watersliding fun.  Mostly, we just hung out with no kids.  We were separated from our kids for 4 nights and it was just the break we(I) needed.  I love my husband and feel so lucky anytime I get to spend time with him!  Thanks for watching our kids Andrew and Trena, Mark and Stella and Kim!

On the way home we saw the "Hot Dog Car" and had to take pictures for the kids.  Parker has one of these HotWheels.  (And I thought it was pretty awesome too!)

Happy 1st Birthday Lincoln!

Our little Lincoln turned one year old on July 6th!  I cannot believe how fast this past year has gone!  Autumn and Parker love their little brother, sometimes a little too much.  He is crawling and trying to stand on his own for short moments, still really only has 2 teeth, but the top two have barely poked through.  He is getting so big and we are loving getting to see more of his personality each day!

He loved being able to walk with his new walking toy!  He smiled so big while he pushed it across the floor!

12 months!

Our little Lincoln is a Year Old!
At 12 months, he is 20.68 pounds (18 %tile) and 29.5 inches long (39%tile).  He still has only 2 teeth, the bottom two.  He is not walking, but crawling fast.  He does try to stand occasionally, but just for a couple of seconds.  We cannot believe that he is already a Year old!  We love our little Lincoln!

He tries to stand on his own for a quick second.  Although, here he is using the couch to stand...and loving it.
