Without Further Ado...

Yes, we are having another baby!

Don't let the ultrasound fool you, I am only 10 weeks along and the baby is only an inch and a half long. We are due on the 22nd of September. I just couldn't hold it in any longer. We are so excited for our new little one!

Getting Around...

Well, Parker is now 17 months old and really seems to have no desire to walk. I thought I would show you the ways that he has figured out to get where he wants. Parker also got his second haircut this day and I thought it was so cute!

Parker's crawl. For those of you who haven't seen it or just haven't seen it in a while, it is worth watching. It seems to get attention everywhere we go; people just can't get over it. It kind of resembles the crawl of a monkey. Sorry it is sideways.

And one more fun way that Parker just learned to get around. Thanks for the bike, Cullan! Sorry, this one is sideways too. I just love his head bobbing up and down!

Valentine's Festivities

Paul and I got to celebrate Valentine's Day on a few separate occasions. It started with a date to the temple and our Stake Valentine's Dance earlier this month. Paul was really getting into it and I wish I had pictures to show. We also attended a Valentine's Dance with our ward, at a retirement community. I do have pictures of Paul getting down there. Then we got to take a trip to Paul's house in New Mexico on the actual Valentine's Day. It was so fun see family and let Parker hang out with Granny and Pops.

Paul and I officially celebrated Valentine's day with a trip to Heber this past week (Paul had the whole week off of school). We started with a stop at the tubing hill at Soldier Hollow (The hill has 1,200-foot lanes with lift service for towing people up the hill for tubing day or night under the lights, and a sound system keeps the airwaves full of enjoyable tunes...got that off of their web site). It really was so fun! I felt like a kid again! We, then, made our way to Heber and ate at "The Hub." It is a local cafe, with great home cookin'. Finally, we headed to our "bed and breakfast" for the evening. The bed and breakfast was really the house of Paul's very nice fellow student, who auctioned off a night at her house to raise money for the Law School. The house was big and gorgeous and we had the whole basement to ourselves. We played ping pong (Paul won), Blockus Trigon (Paul won), and then watched a movie (no winners here). It was the ultimate sleepover! In the morning, breakfast was prepared for us and we got to use the home owner's snowmobiles for a couple of hours. It was so much fun! Thanks to Barry and Lorie and their great hospitality! Also, Thanks to Dave and Mel for watching Parker and to Jill and Ron for the snow clothes. We had a great Valentine's Day Celebration! Paul really is so fun to be around. I am so lucky to be married to him.

Where is the dinosaur?

I have been able to watch Parker's cousin, Trevor, a couple of times a week for the last little while. They are starting to have a lot of fun together. Sometimes they laugh and laugh at each other and other times they do their own thing. I thought that this was pretty funny.

We are so sad that Trevor and his parents are leaving us for Texas, but we are happy for them!

Picture Updates...

Well, I have been a total blog slacker lately. In an attempt to get caught up, I am posting mostly pictures to show Parker's new tricks as well as what we have been up to lately. Enjoy!

Parker saying prayers.

Trevor and Kim's birthday celebration with bubbles!

Parker is a Celtics fan.

Parker loves the utensil drawer. I let him play there while I am making dinner.

Parker loves oranges!

Just Parker being cute!

Parker's pants were a little too big. I looked over from the kitchen to see this...

A visit from Shelly...
And Goldie!

Parker's new favorite ride! This makes grocery shopping so much easier!

Parker's first instrument; the Kazoo!

Sorting the Laundry with Parker. It takes twice as long, but it is twice the fun!
