Nine Months!

On April 6th, Lincoln was 9 months!  Time sure is flying with this one.  He is such a happy boy and makes us smile with his big happy grin.  At his nine month appointment, he was 19.42 lbs (25%tile) and 29 inches long (67%tile).  He is still not crawling, but he gets around somehow.  He scoots on his bottom, turns on his tummy and rolls to get what he wants, but hasn't quite figured out the crawling motion.  He is getting close though.  He gets up from lying on his tummy to sitting up by doing the splits and scooting backward.  He loves to "dance" and move to music.  He has entered the "I only want my Mommy" stage.  So cute, but draining.  (And sad for Paul.)  Although, he does pretty good as long as he can't see me.  He had his first ride on swings and loved it!  (As you can see above).  He continues to be our craziest sleeper.  There is always something keeping him up, but I think he just needs to move out of our room!  he is so smiley and cute; we love our little Lincoln!

Some fun things we have been doing...

We haven't been doing much, just trying to keep the kids happy and wear them out so they sleep good at night.  As you can see, we have been doing a good job.  Above, they were worn out after playing with cousins, while Paul and I had date night.  Below, are some pictures from a park off the Provo River trail.  We walked there with the kids on their trikes between conference sessions.  Lincoln loved the swings!

Playing with Lincoln

The kids are playing "Spy."  It was a little game I taught them, where you dress up in different disguises and follow Mom and Dad around the house.  I used to play this with my little brothers when I was a kid.
