Autumn loves to play games with me or Paul. She learned her ABC's and Counts to at least ten, has memorized and scripture sings all kinds of songs. She is sweet, sensitive, very loving and I hope she does know how special she is to us.
Here are some fun facts about Autumn:
-Sings the Alphabet
-Recognizes most of the letters
-Counts to 11 and sometimes more
-Parker has been learning all about dinosaurs from "Dino Dan." Apparently, Autumn has been learning them too. I was pointing to some dinosaurs to check Parker's knowledge and Autumn was spouting them off also.
-Loves to play card games or any one-on-one kid game
-Loves to be chased
-When our kids our getting changed out of their clothes, pulling off their shirt and it gets stuck on their head, we always say they look like Santa (with a Santa hat on). So, they always say, "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!" Autumn, though, says "Ho Ho Ho Ferry Christmas!" (Although, in her mind, maybe it is "Fairy Christmas!")
-Likes to say "Yes Siree!" and "No, Siree!" (I don't know where she learned it, but it is cute.)
-She is in her "Yesterday" phase. She says she did something "yesterday" if it was in the past, but not necessarily the day before. She always answers "anything" or "anyone," instead of nothing or no one. She loves to talk to herself and play pretend with her toys. (Although, she is very shy about it and gets embarrassed and stops talking when you try to listen.) She is learning lots of new words and phrases and experimenting with them.
-Like Parker, she has memorized names to various dinosaurs from "Dino Dan."
-She loves to give hugs and kisses!
-Is so helpful in getting things for me, Lincoln or pretty much anyone. She loves to help.
-We have tried potty training a couple of times and she does okay. Although, she mostly a social potty-goer; she only wants to go when someone else is going. Otherwise she doesn't think about it. So we are taking a break.
-Because of Parker's peanut butter allergy, she didn't have peanut butter for more than her first 2 years. She has recently discovered PB&J sandwiches and wants them everyday. She often says, "Parker can't have peanut butter, but I love peanut butter."
-She is a screamer. When Parker is being mean to her or simply doing something she doesn't want him to, she screams. It is kind of a warning sign, that she is about to retaliate.
-As mentioned in Parker's post, we all got to "be" players on the BYU Basketball team this year. Autumn was Noah Hartsock and she had a lot of fun with that. She actually has some socks with hearts on them and she calls them her "Noah Heart Socks." (She also has "Noah Heart Jammies" and "Noah Heart shoes.")
-She is so sweet! She still has her tantrums every now and then, but gives big hugs and snuggles when they are done. Along with cute and sincere, "I'm Sorry's."
