There is something so cute about little shoes. And with bowling shoes, it is no different. We went bowling at Fat Cats with Andrew and Trena and Jordan and Paige. I was surprised at how entertained all of the kids were for the whole hour. Parker and Autumn got so excited every time they knocked down some pins. I realize that I am the last to hear about this, but did you know that the bumpers can automatically come up for your child's turn and then go back down for your turn? And they have these really cool metal "bowling ball ramps" for kids that are too little to roll their own ball. All they have to do is push the ball down the ramp. Even with all of that, Autumn would have been completely satisfied to sort the bowling balls as they came up from the return. And their is always a good friendly bowling competition for the adults as well. I used to think bowling was just for older kids or adults, but it is fun for our whole family. From the fun "bowling ball ramps" for tiny bowlers, to automated bumpers, to the bowling ball return and lots of dancing with family in those cute bowling shoes; we had fun.

Half Marathon!
Paul and his brother, Steven, ran the Salt Lake City Half Marathon. They both did really well and we are so proud of them. Paul does so much for our family and I am always happy when he gets a chance to do things that make him happy. It was great to see him run to the finish and be there as he gave high-fives to the kids as he passed. Parker and Autumn were so excited to see their Dad, because he is the fastest Dad in the whole world, of course.
Family!
We had family in town in April. Melissa, Trevor and Spencer came to play and then the next weekend, Steven, Julie and Barbs joined the party. Parker and Autumn had so much fun playing with Trevor and Spencer. Parker keeps asking if Trevor can come again. Here are some photos of the fun we had together!
