New Mexico

We went down to Paul's home for our nephew, Jaben's, baptism. It was really special to see him make this great decision and remember our own baptisms and the blessing of the gospel in our lives and in the life of our family.

We didn't get as many pictures as we should have on our trip down to New Mexico, but here are a few that tell a little about our adventures in the Land of Enchantment. Parker quickly got reacquainted with all of his cousins and he had fun running around in so much open space.

Parker, Lauren and Kylie could often be found outside playing with bubbles.

Paul got a lot of chores done for his Dad while we were there. As you can see, one of those was mowing the lawn and Parker enjoyed that.
On the day of the baptism, the kids enjoyed playing in a blow-up water slide at Kyle and Lindsey's house.
We were also able to go to a real Pow Wow. It was really neat! But as you can see, Parker was a little scared to get too close.
For quite some time, Paul has been talking about finding some of the natural Arches in his hometown of Aztec. He was pretty excited to actually get to find one with Kevin and Lauren. Pretty Cool!
At the end of our trip, we were all pretty tired!
Of course, we also enjoyed the usual fun of game playing, shopping and just hanging out. It is so much fun just to be with family. We sure missed those who couldn't be there!

What a fun trip! Parker has changed so much in the two months since I've moved. He doesn't look like a baby at all anymore! He is such a big boy!

I have to laugh because my Parker sleeps with his hands behind his head too!

It's kind of nice to have family that lives away like New Mexico and Cal, because it ensures that you always have somewhere fun to go. We go to Provo and back. Sounds like you had fun. It's nice to be around family and enjoy the time together.

I'm glad everyone had fun. I heard there was a lot of 'Sequence' being played. I was told Paul got smoked, and that there were 'issues' with some of the games Laura participated in. Some things never change. We are sorry we had to miss it.
