Mother's Weekend!

This year, Mother's Day was more like Mother's weekend at our house.  Paul took me on a fun date to the Downtown Provo Gallery Stroll on Friday evening.  It was fun to walk around and chat, talk and enjoy the refreshments.  Saturday Morning Parker had a soccer game (and me as the coach).  It was a beautiful day and the kids had fun.  Then Paul took Parker and Autumn to Home Depot to the kids workshop to make me a "surprise" Mother's Day gift.  This gave me a little time to myself, while Lincoln was napping.  When the kids arrived home and hid their surprise, Autumn got dressed in her pretty Princess dress and we went to the "Miss and Mom Princess Tea Party" at Macey's.  It was great to have time with my little Princess.  When Autumn went down for her nap, I took Parker to Children's Book Festival at the Provo Library.  It was a lot of fun!  We saw the Very Hungry Caterpillar, Skippyjon Jones, and Peter Rabbit, colored, got Parker's face painted, and got free books.  It was fun to have some time with my little boy, who is getting so big!

On Sunday, Mother's Day morning, Paul and the kids brought me breakfast in bed, along with their presents; Autumn and Parker their "self-made" flower pots from Home Depot and Paul, a gift certificate for a massage and tickets to see Mark Wills and Mark Chestnut.  We had a great Sunday at church and being together as a family.
