Lots of pictures from March, April and May

A Collection of Pictures from the last couple of months:

Autumn was pretty tired...she fell asleep sitting on the couch by herself. I was doing silly dances to entertain her and left the room for a moment...came back to find this...precious

Autumn loves to wear baseball caps, although she usually pulls them down so low that she can barely see. If you try to fix it, she gets upset and pulls it back down.

Granny made this cute dress for Autumn. It is adorable and I have gotten so many compliments on it. Autumn likes it too!

Paul A. Jones, J.D.

Paul graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University at the end of April. Sometimes I think the past three years have flown by, but I haven't forgotten the long days (and nights) that Paul has spent at school and I have spent from sunrise to bedtime with Parker and Autumn. This past year has been the craziest, with the job search, two mobile kids and expecting another one has made for one long stressful year. But we made it through. Paul pulled off yet another great year of Law School, he did great in his classes. Then, to top it off, he got a job within weeks after graduation. I am really so proud of Paul and grateful to have such a hardworking and loving husband.

California Getaway

While Paul was getting ready for finals, I took the kids to California to visit my family and get out of Paul's way. We had fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa and all of the cousins. It was great to be some where for the kids to run around and just relax. Here are some of the things we did:
  • Played around the house with Grandma and Grandpa. Parker helped Grandma water the plants and plant a tomato plant.
  • We spent a day at my sister Kristin's house with her family. Parker and Autumn were completely entertained, as you can see by the pictures.
  • We went to the beach with Grandma and Grandpa. Autumn was scared of the waves and didn't even want to walk into the sand. Eventually, we got her to enjoy the sand, but neither she nor Parker ventured anywhere close to the water. They had fun playing in the sand and looking for seashells.
  • I got to visit with my old roommate, Meredith. (Parker took this picture.)
  • We also got to visit Paul's sister, Julie. Parker was so excited to play with her and Autumn warmed up really quickly.
  • Of course, we went to River Kwai. (A really good Thai place in Riverside).
  • I went to dinner and to see "The Last Song" with my sister, Kristin, and my sister-in-law, Brandy.
  • Dinner and lounging with family on Sunday afternoon.
  • A quick and uneventful trip home.

A Happy Easter

(Both "smiling" with just their eyes.)

We had a great Easter Sunday. Parker and Autumn loved finding their Easter baskets filled with goodies in the morning. We went to Jill and Ron's house for Conference and Easter dinner with Andrew and Trena, Michael and Lisa, and Mark and Stella. We had a big Easter egg hunt for all of the kids. Since Autumn was alseep during the first egg hunt. We had a small one again later so she could participate. It was a great day to reflect on the resurrection of the Savior, listen to General Conference, be with family, and have fun.
