Halloween

There is nothing like opening your bag of Halloween candy on November 1st, smelling the combination of fruit, chocolate, peanuts and caramel and knowing that pretty much any kind of candy that you can think of, is at your fingertips. That scent makes me feel like a kid again and I want to eat all of the candy as fast as I can.

Well, thanks to Parker, we got a pretty good stash of candy this year. We were able to participate in a few Halloween festivities this year; our ward Halloween party, the law school Halloween Party, BYU Halloween carnival, and of course 'Trick or treating.' Parker was a bear this year, in a costume that my mom made many years ago.

Our little family at the Law School Halloween Party. Brick Oven Pizza and Trick or Treating!

Emily (our neighbor) and I decided to take our boys to the BYU Halloween Festivities. They had all sorts of fun games for kids and of course, candy. Here are Parker and James.

One of the booths had a computer set up to take cool pics, like the one above. Parker looks so tired!

Parker ran into his friend Jack, from our ward...

Fishing for candy, a Halloween classic!

Trick or treating on Halloween. We have been talking up Halloween for weeks, so Parker was prepared. We went to Jill and Ron's house and trick or treated from there. He little voice was so cute as he said 'trick or treat' at each door. He only went to about 4 houses before he started asking to go back to 'Jill's house.' We had fun giving him the whole Halloween experience and are now enjoying the fruits of his labor!

So fun! Your baby is so cute and seems to be getting bigger. I just really wish that they would stay little a little bit longer!
